Find yourself on the yoga mat
The meaning of the word yoga is union, and with an open mind and open heart, at the centre of everything that unites us is love.
During our yoga practice you will learn to care for your true self through pranayama (breathing), mobilising your joints and ligaments and strengthening your bones through asana (poses) and practising self-love through kindness and compassion.
You will be given strategies to live a life filled with calmness by cultivating awareness and feeling your way through your experiences to seek wisdom and learnings, and to move into living a life full of abundance.

Yoga is compassion, not competition
If you’re new to yoga and feel nervous, know this: yoga is not a competition. No-one is comparing your flexibility, looking at how low you are in an asana, whether you can do a headstand, or whether you’ve painted your toe nails.
At Manda Jane Yoga, all I asked is that you arrive on your mat without expectation, and allow yoga to gives you the time and space to come home to your self. I welcome everyone, from absolute beginners through to experienced yogis, leading classes that are open hearted, creative, innovative, enthusiastic and grounded.

My yoga meet-cute
I discovered my gift in 2019, when I began teaching yoga. For 20 years, I’d been deepening my yoga practice, discovering my authentic self and aligning my body on the mat. After years of practice, I realised that I needed to gift others with this greater awareness that I was fortunate to experience.
I'm a proud member of Yoga Alliance.
