Find yourself on the yoga mat

A yoga space that’s inviting, connected and inclusive

Taking time out for yourself is essential—not just for your physical health, but for your mental wellbeing as well. In my classes, I encourage you to step onto the mat with an open mind and heart, allowing yoga to give you the space to reconnect with your true self. Through mindful movement, breathwork, and stillness, you’ll discover how important it is to pause, reflect, and nurture your body and mind.

Yoga is more than just poses; it’s a practice of awareness and self-realisation. As you move and breathe, you begin to notice subtle shifts within—greater clarity, acceptance, and a sense of transcendence. This journey is deeply personal, and I believe the main quest in life is to live in full creativity, whatever that looks like for you. My classes are designed to support you in finding your own path, embracing your individuality, and exploring the wisdom of your own experiences.

Embracing Change: Yoga Classes for Everyone, Everywhere

Manda Jane yoga classes

Over the years, yoga has been my anchor—a practice that's helped me find balance, strength, and calm. I'm now offering yoga both online and in community spaces, making it easier than ever for you to join in, wherever you are.

Whether you're new to yoga or have been practising for years, my classes are designed to be inclusive, supportive, and accessible to all bodies and abilities. Each session is grounded in mindful movement and alignment, drawing on my experience in Iyengar and Yin Yoga.

Yoga is compassion, not competition

If you’re new to yoga and feel nervous, know this: yoga is not a competition. No-one is comparing your flexibility, looking at how low you are in an asana, whether you can do a headstand, or whether you’ve painted your toe nails.

At Manda Jane Yoga, all I asked is that you arrive on your mat without expectation, and allow yoga to gives you the time and space to come home to your self. I welcome everyone, from absolute beginners through to experienced yogis, leading classes that are open hearted, creative, innovative, enthusiastic and grounded.

Vinyasa Yoga

A physical and flowing yoga. Vinyasa is the embodiment of
strength, alignment of asanas, and weaving the practices (mantra, mudra and meditation) through rhythm and breath.

Vinyasa yoga is a physical yoga, helping to bring your body into balance, releasing tension and stiffness so your joints, muscles and ligaments can move more freely with a greater range in movement.

Vinyasa yoga is included in my classes at Holland Park, Beenleigh, Victoria Point and Mount Cotton.

Yin Yoga

Restorative yoga that leaves you renewed. Yin yoga is a
passive and soothing yoga, primarily focusing on floor-based postures - perfect for when all you can do is make it to the mat! Each pose is held in still contemplation, allowing you to breathe and be mindful of your body.

Yin yoga is a deeply nourishing practice, with a slow intention to target joints, connective tissue and fascia to create more space and flexibility. From an energetic perspective, yin yoga aims to release your
fascia and open your meridian lines, allowing chi to flow through your body more freely. Chi is considered the bridge between physical form and pure awareness.  My teaching also shares my wisdom of the five elements and Tibetan Buddhism, from where yin yoga originated.

Yin yoga is included in my classes at Holland Park, Beenleigh, Victoria Point and Mount Cotton.

Meditation & Relaxation

“Meditation is the breeze that comes in when you leave the
window open, but if you deliberately keep it open, deliberately invite it to
come, it will never appear.” J. Krishnamurti

Meditation is one of the key yoga practices that will change
your life - but it’s so much more than lying still and attempting to let thoughts pass you by.

Your mind is never completely still, it is always seeking an
experience. Knowing that meditation is all around you in various spontaneous moments will give you greater awareness of how you can create your own calm and live your best life mindfully.

At Manda Jane Yoga, my meditation practice helps you to find those moments of stillness and allow yourself to be in peace in them, no matter
how fleeting they may be.

Meditation and mindfulness is included in my classes at Holland Park, Beenleigh, Victoria Point and Mount Cotton.

Yoga Treat - In the Heart of Stillness

I warmly invite you to join my community yoga events—a space where you can focus on your wellbeing, connect with others, and enjoy a sense of belonging.

Yoga has been a significant part of my life for over twenty years. It has helped me find balance, strength, and clarity, and I am passionate about sharing these benefits with others. My classes are designed to be inclusive and accessible, whether you are new to yoga or have been practising for years. I focus on mindful movement, alignment, and creating an environment where everyone feels welcome and supported.

After each session, we share a catered meal. This is a wonderful opportunity to relax, enjoy nourishing food, and connect with others in the community. I believe that yoga is about more than just physical postures—it’s about kindness, self-care, and building genuine connections.

My teaching draws on my experience in Iyengar and Yin Yoga, and I am committed to ongoing learning and growth. Each class is an opportunity to explore movement, breath, and stillness, and to discover what feels right for your body.

If you are looking for a way to take time out for yourself, improve your wellbeing, and meet like-minded people, I encourage you to come along to my next event. You are welcome to bring a friend or come on your own—either way, you will be part of a supportive and friendly group.

I look forward to seeing you on the mat, and sharing this journey with you.
