“The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away"

Pablo Picasso

In 2019, I uncovered my true calling when I started teaching yoga. For two decades, I had been immersing myself in yoga, finding my authentic self, and perfecting my practice on the mat. After years of dedication, I realised that I wanted to share this profound awareness with others, allowing them to experience the same enlightenment I had been fortunate to discover..

I came to yoga to support my body and understand it on a deeper level. As an avid exercise-fan, with a love of high intensity training, I originally fell in love with Iyengar Yoga because of its focus on precision, timing and detailed alignment cues - yoga helped me to relearn my body and understand how to improve my optimal alignment.

Since starting yoga, I have noticed significant improvements in my athletic performance, including enhanced balance, strength, alignment, flexibility, and mobility for healthy functional movement. Additionally, yoga has heightened my proprioception, allowing me to better sense my body's position and movements, and interoception, helping me to be more aware of my internal bodily sensations. I work through challenges in my life with a positive attitude and have become more accepting of others through improved emotional intelligence

The more I learned on the mat, the more I recognised that health starts within. Pranayama and Asanas became the foundation of all other movements, and instead of quantity, I focused on quality - yoga was fundamental to this mindset shift for me.

I am bursting to share my knowledge and how yoga could improve your range of motion and care for your joints, ligaments and tendons through self-correction and awareness.

In 2022, my Yin Yoga training changed my life. I delved into the study of fascia, meridian lines, the five elements theory, and the vagus nerve.

In the stillness of Yin Yoga, we engage in self-discovery by releasing tension, stressing fascia, and accessing connective tissue and organ pathways via Meridian Lines. Yin Yoga liberated me, providing a new perspective on my true, authentic self

I am so inspired to keep learning more about this magnificent practice so I can gift others the same awakening by introspectively finding a way forward in the wisdom of their own experiences.

All my classes include guidance with yoga blocks, to open yoga up to more bodies. I love sharing knowledge throughout my class so we can all enjoy a heartfelt practice together, we will never stop learning the diversity that makes yoga a union.
